Ich habe das eben bei GrandmasterA auf seiner Seite ZIDZ.com gefunden und frage mich -
wieso jetzt erst ?

Ein originaler Delo aus Teil 3 wurde aufgekauft und aufgrund des miesen Zustands restauriert.
Tolle Seite mit vielen Bildern und Antworten auf jede menge Fragen:

Nun wissen wir auch wieso einige von Käfer-Motor reden bei der Zeitmaschine.
Die Off-Road Version hatte tatsächlich eine Käfer Bodengruppe darunter gebaut...
( hätten denn die originalen Federn vorne nicht genügt ? )

Ich kann die Seite nur emfehlen, ich bin selbst noch nicht ganz durch, will das in Ruhe
genießen
Auch finde ich das ganze so toll, daß es einen eigenen Thread erhält obwohl es absolut
unter die Rubrik "U have to see this !" fällt.

Es ist tatsächlich einer der sieben aus BTTF. Eine Angestellte kannte sich recht gut aus und hat mir erzählt, dass die Firma dieses Fahrzeug von den Universal Studios gekauft hat.

Ich war im Sommer in Cornwall und bin zufällig darüber gestolpert.

Sicher? Ohne ins Detail zu gehen sehe ich da einige Fehler an diesem. Da mit Plutoniumreaktoraufbau müßte das einer der BTTF1-Wagen sein.
Statt der Neonröhren hängen da aber Lampenschläuche hinter den Fluxbändern und keine Sicken in der Haube, um nur zwei Sachen zu nennen.

Das ist zu 1000% kein echtes Fahrzeug, dass für die Produktion eines der Drei Zurück ind ie Zukunft Filme genutzt wurde.
Fich ich immer wieder unverschämt wie hier die Leute veräppelt werden. Und Dazu noch ein ziemlich schlechter Nachbau...Da stimmt ja selbst auf den 1. Blick gar nichts...
Das einzige originale Fahrzeug, welches sich in Privatbesitz befindet ist das oben verlinkte von Desi DosSantos.

Soweit ich das mitbekommen habe, ist der Wagen in Cornwall von http://www.treasureparks.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; der erste Umbau von Gary Weaver II. Den Wagen hatte er versteigert und der ging dort hin. Deckt sich mit den Fotos, die ich von Garys Wagen habe.
Also haben die eine schöne Geschichte erfunden...

We know it was difficult for Arthur to part with his screen-used toy, a decision made even harder by the misguided advice of one digruntled fan who suggested he not return the time circuits at all!?!? We're glad Arthur had the character to do the right thing for the entire BTTF community, and Bob Gale agrees.

In fact, Arthur Lea had the amazing opportunity to meet Bob Gale in person and turn the Time Circuits over directly to him! In addition to Bob Gale's personal gratitude, Arthur will receive a personal letter from Bob thanking him for his generosity and for his help in bringing BACK the world's most iconic vehicle, the Delorean Time Machine! Additionally, Arthur and his father's names will be immortalized at the Time Machine display at Universal Studios to be appreciated by BTTF fans for all TIME!
