Immer nen vollen Tank.
Ne Meinung eines Nord-Kaliforniers dazu:
I think that they announced that they will be selling them as kit cars to
get around the whole crash test thing. but a "kit" comes with everything
except engine and transmission to keep it "kit". I have heard whispers
several times over the years that DMCH has several crates of the drivers
fenders and passenger no-hole fenders saved in secret... maybe this is
why... I have never heard any response from DMCH about the fender issue and
that silence adds some validity to the whispers of the secret stash of
parts...
When short availability of the drivers side torsion bar became an issue DMCH
(and others) openly looked into manufacturing replacements and talked about
the finances and minimum orders for having them made... any time the fenders
come up they are mum.
Maybe I am making mountains out of mole hills but there are some interesting
observations...
